Giving Tuesday, a day to emphasize generosity, has continued to fill my social media threads. Amazing stories of how giving and supporting can make such positive impacts in our community and our world.

At World's Window we continue to invite our customers to help us support the life-giving services at Rose Brooks Center. During the holidays we WRAP our love around those in shelter from domestic violence.

Our “Circle of Caring” shopping totes at $20 each are a great partnership between Fair Trade artisans in India who create these beautiful bags, our store that supports their work, AND your donations that support Rose Brooks Center.

Made from locally grown, hand-spun and woven cotton using natural dyes and hand-carved printing blocks, each bag says "Fair Trade = Justice + Peace + Love" on the inside and supports the continued work with artisan groups of the socially-conscious company Matr Boomie.

50% of the proceeds from the sale of these bags is donated to Rose Brooks Center. Click here to shop for these bags. Another great idea: tuck your gifts inside a "Circle of Caring" tote for a festive present under the tree.

ALL gift wrap donations given for our signature beautifully wrapped gifts also go to Rose Brooks.

Holiday masks to wear all month long! Carry holiday spirit with you wherever you go. Guatemalan artisans have done it again! These masks for both children and adults are so charming. Yes, you'll wear a smile behind these masks and so will others who see you! They come assorted either in shaped "duckbill" masks or the regular pleated design. Watch for them to appear on online or stop in to choose some for yourself and friends.

Jill Claxton has added such JOY to our holidays with more of her one-of-a-kind holiday deer sculptures as well as holiday ornaments and pins and a whole new collection of whimsical animals that wow everyone who looks at them. The HOLIDAY designs from Kei and Molly Dish Towels have arrived as well as a re-stocking of your favorite designs. There's a lovely new "Great Teachers" towel that's perfect to send or deliver to all those special teachers making learning happen in so many unusual ways this year. Also from Kei and Molly - naturally biodegradable sponge cloths What a great gift idea!! They replace conventional kitchen sponges and paper towels for a bright, eco-friendly way to wipe up messes. Each sponge cloth can be rewashed and reused for up to 3-6 months, replacing up to 15 rolls of paper towels! Hand-printed in great Kei and Molly prints. Check them all out here.

PLEASE NOTE - our store is now open 7 days a week. We anticipate being busy and want us all to be safe in our holiday shopping together. Morning hours tend to be very quiet, so are an excellent time to shop. So far we are also very quiet from 5 to 6 pm. We will continue to require masks in all areas of our store, including dressing rooms, and we continue to re-steam clothing that has been tried on. We have hand sanitizer available in numerous locations around our store. By being ever aware of courteous and safe distancing, we can celebrate the season together. And remember our online store is "open" 24 hours a day.

We know from many of our small companies that will will not be able to re-order and re-stock many products. Due to workshops still being closed down routinely due to COVID and limited shipments coming from many countries, we may run out of many items. We encourage you to shop early.
