Chatham SPLOST Campaign Launches:
Community leaders and officials gathered September 17th, to kick off the campaign to renew Chatham Country's Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). This county-wide November 4 referendum will continue the existing 1% sales tax to generate an estimated $700 million over six years for critical improvements across Chatham County.

SPLOST 8 continues to fund essential community improvements through a voter-approved 1% sales tax collected across Chatham County. These funds help reduce the need for property tax increases while ensuring critical infrastructure and quality-of-life projects move forward.
