Ask New Dimensions Federal Credit Union (NDFCU) what Team Teal means to them and they will likely talk about giving back to their community through the fundraising efforts of their Social Responsibility Committee. “Team Teal”, as they have coined themselves, is more than a Social Responsibility Committee. They pride themselves on being an organization that positively impacts the community by supporting friends and neighbors who need it the most, but they also take tremendous joy and reward in their efforts that help to fund Maine’s Ending Hunger Campaign, Special Olympics Maine, and Maine Children’s Cancer Program. Helping others is a priority to their staff, management, and Board of Directors.

New Dimensions FCU's Elm tree planted in honor of Waterville’s history!

On June 10, 2020, we planted an Elm tree on 94 Silver Street in honor of the city’s history.

In the 1930s, both sides of Silver Street were shaded by Elm Trees. By the 1960s and 1970s, as Waterville began to develop, many trees were removed by construction...

New Dimensions honors their 2020 Employee of the year!

Lexi EE of the Year.jpg

At New Dimensions FCU we invest in our staff because it’s important to have a culture that includes committed membership, each other, and themselves! We look for people who excel in the workplace who help to give us direction and strength as we move through each day. We look for those who lead by example who when given real-life lessons, prove their value by striving for positive outcomes while showing us how to achieve at a higher level.

New Dimensions FCU employees who embody the mission of the credit union, produce quality work, and consistently display characteristics valued and appreciated by coworkers and members alike are made eligible for this award by the following criteria, employment, most cooperative and helpful, most engaged, passionate, and enthusiastic about their work and often inspires others, most professional and service-oriented, and volunteerism.

This year’s recipient of the Outstanding Employee of the Year is Alexia Gregoire!

To begin, Lexi had perfect attendance in 2020. That was quite a feat in itself, but to show up each day with a can-do, must-do attitude as she did is another. Beyond showing up at work, Lexi excelled in the duties of her position and often revisited skills from previous positions to help others when needed. Normal day-to-day business is taken care of with a sense of urgency, commitment to quality, and above-average performance, which embodies our tagline – Educate. Empower. Evolve. Lexi regularly helps colleagues within the entire institution, whether it be taking items from them to help manage their workload, reinforcing her peer’s knowledge and skills, or training them in something altogether new. She is quick to help others when she knows she can help. She regularly offers feedback on processes when she sees a change that benefits efficiency and has been a part of the testing process with implemented products. Lexi has helped streamline processes, has gone the extra mile to develop procedures, and is known to trim checklists which have strengthened the member experience and increased the performance of our departments. Lexi’s commitment to the membership, consistent focus on proficiency, adoption of the PPC philosophy, and example of professionalism have made her a go-to person in our company. Lexi serves on our Social Responsibility Committee and our Service Team. In this way, again, she commits to our goals and purpose. We are happy to have Lexi as a member of Silver Street’s lending staff and her efforts for the company are appreciated. Congratulations Lexi!
