Since the birth of cinema in 1895, the City of Light has inspired filmmakers around the world. From Hollywood classics to Amélie and beyond. We will explore the iconic locations and stories behind the films that have brought Paris to the screen.
This illustrated presentation will outline the history and significance of Cheese in France, highlighting cheesemaking's introduction in Roman times, the establishment of AOC (protection law), the economic impact of the cheese industry in France and the different production techniques. We will meet in the Maison de la Francophonie.
