BXP in Action: Supporting First Responders and Displaced Schools
BXP is proud to highlight recent community efforts at Santa Monica Business Park (SMBP) and Colorado Center, reflecting our commitment to partnership, responsiveness, and care.
During the recent LA-area wildfires, SMBP hosted 440 firefighters and 145 emergency vehicles from Oregon and Utah. With the support of our clients, we provided essential accommodations and resources. Special thanks to Ruben Miranda, SMBP’s Director of Security & Fire Life Safety, whose leadership and dedication were instrumental in coordinating on-site efforts.
In the same spirit, SMBP and Colorado Center welcomed displaced students from Seven Arrows School and Village School. BXP partnered with clients and found creative ways to transform office space into dynamic learning environments for these schools. Their presence brought new energy to our campuses and united our community in support of local families.
BXP remains committed to being a responsive and engaged partner throughout Los Angeles, continuing to support its clients, neighbors, and the greater community.

Rising Stars & Emerging Leaders Give Back at the LA Regional Food Bank
Earlier this month, a dedicated group of volunteers, including many of our Rising Stars and Emerging Leaders, spent the morning at the LA Regional Food Bank, assembling food kits for individuals and families facing food insecurity across Los Angeles County.
Through teamwork, the group made a tangible impact and the final stats proved just how much can be accomplished in a few short hours.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this volunteer day a success.

When Community Matters Most
BOMA/GLA was honored to support members impacted by this year’s devastating fires. Our efforts were divided into two phases. First, essential supplies were provided to those in immediate need. Then, hundreds of gift cards - donated by our incredible members, partners, and friends - were distributed to help ease the recovery process.
This week, four recipients received that support in a heartfelt moment that reminded us just how strong our community is when we come together.
To our task force, donors, and supporters: thank you. Your generosity made a real difference.

Our recent Codes Seminar expanded on this topic with a panel of experts, including representatives from LAFD, who walked attendees through all phases of a FACP replacement. It’s part of our ongoing effort to help members stay ahead of fire and life safety challenges.
Lastly, we closed off the month with our Property Technology Committee learning about the importance of building cybersecurity and a dedicated base building network from Montgomery Technologies.
