Happy day after Labor Day. What does experience mean to you? I see it as doing new things, going to new places or meeting new people. It is not, as a boss of mine said years ago, doing the same thing in the same way for 20 years and calling it 20 years of experience. He would call that one year of experience twenty times.

Life is terribly short and we only have one shot at it. We need to cram as many experiences into it we can. We need to have those experiences while we are able. Let's not be like the little old lady I knew who, toward the end of her life kept saying - -"If only I had - -".

Every day is the chance for a new experience, large or small. Smile and enjoy the experiences that life offers to their fullest. Learn from them, make adjustments and experience even more.
