Greetings!
Corpus Christi invites us to cherish the Eucharist, the living presence of Jesus who feeds, strengthens, and unites us. As our bodies need food, so our souls need Christ.
In the Gospel, Jesus proclaims His Body and Blood as true food and
drink, while Paul reminds us that sharing this one Bread makes us one body—the
Church. The Eucharist is both communion with Christ and with one another.
More than sustenance, the Eucharist is life with Jesus, a promise
of eternal life, and a call to trust in His mystery. Like Israel in the desert,
we depend on God for all things and are reminded not to forget Him in times of
comfort.
With gratitude, we recognize every gift comes from Him. Through
the Eucharist, we are nourished and sent forth to live with trust, humility,
and thankful hearts, becoming Christ’s presence in the world.

Effective this Monday, June 1, 2026, a new link to the Online Giving Page will be in place. This should not impact you if you access the Giving page from our website.
However, after this date, old links saved on your browser ("bookmarked") may not be able to access the Giving page.
To avoid this, as soon as possible and before Monday, please update your bookmark with the following link: https://giving.myparishsoft.io/app/giving/WeShare-2473?tab=home.
| | If you are still receiving donation envelopes but no longer need them, or if you now give by check or through WeShare, we would be very grateful if you would let us know so we can discontinue sending them. Doing so helps our parish be good stewards of our resources while still keeping an accurate record of your generous support. Thank you for your kindness and for all you do for our church community. If you would like to stop receiving envelopes, please email Sue Johnson by clicking the link below or sending an email to sjohnson@rcparish.org. | |

Catholic Funeral Mass Planning Workshop Invitation
Our parish invites you to join us for a thoughtful and faith-filled workshop on Catholic Funeral Planning.
This is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on and make personal decisions about your Funeral Mass. You will learn more about selecting readings, choosing music that speaks to your faith, and considering the elements that can bring comfort and hope to your loved ones.
Father Bill, Betsy Taylor, and Irene Jones will guide us through the choices that you or your family may be asked to make, offering insight into the beauty and traditions of the Church’s funeral rites.
Please note, this workshop is purely informational and pastoral in nature; it is not a legal presentation or a sales event.
Come, take some time to prepare with peace of mind and a deeper understanding of our Catholic traditions.
All are welcome.
| Have you seen the new campus map sign? | |
We have had a parishioner who led the project to get our campus map on a sign. A big thank you to Patrick O’Keeffe who generously donated his skills and services to install the sign outside the church on the parking level near the Risen Christ statue. If you have a chance, check it out.
We are so blessed to have such a generous stewardship parish where people willing offer their time, talent, and treasure.

After the success of last year’s Jubilee Pilgrimage to The Grotto, we are planning another pilgrimage this summer to Mount Angel Abbey.
This is a wonderful opportunity to step away from the daily distractions of life and focus on solitude, peace, and prayer. Or to just enjoy some personal time from the hustle and bustle of life.
Family and friends are welcome.

The Beatitudes: God’s Roadmap to Everlasting Joy
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Meekness is often misunderstood as weakness but it actually refers to strength under control. Medieval knighthood valued meekness as a knight’s ability to use power justly and with restraint. Those who embody this virtue practice patience and gentleness instead of retaliation.

There are two meaningful ways to give to our school:
• Endowment Fund – Contribute to our new endowment, blessed with matching gifts of up to $65,000, helping secure the future of Catholic education for generations to come. Your gift to the Endowment helps support the corpus of education. The income earned will help Resurrection School offer more tuition assistance, as well as do necessary improvements throughout the years. This is an investment that will support our school for years to come.
• School Support – Your gift directly extends tuition assistance, opening our doors wider to families in need.

We are thrilled to share that RCPS will be enrolling our very first class of 8th graders this fall. Enrollment will be opening soon for Preschool 3s through 8th Grade for the 2026–2027 school year! Learn more about our school and discover the difference a Catholic education can make.
As our community grows, so does our mission: to ensure that every family who desires a Catholic education for their children can receive one—regardless of financial circumstances. Your generosity makes this possible.

QCD
A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who meet the age requirements old or older to donate up to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions.
RMD
Required minimum distributions (RMDs) are the minimum amounts you must withdraw from your retirement accounts each year. You generally must start taking withdrawals from your traditional IRA, SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, and retirement plan accounts when you meet the age requirements. Changes in deduction rules and limitations will impact how much you can deduct for donations.
Meeting the age requirements, you may qualify to take annual distributions from your retirement account to make tax free donations to charities of your choice.
Resurrection Church is a qualified public charity 501(c)(3) and can receive your QCD.
Contact your financial advisor for updated and relevant tax advise.
Will, Living Trust & Estate Planning
Include Resurrection Catholic Parish or School in your will, trust or estate planning. Your gift – no matter how big or small – ensures our church, school, or school endowment fund can continue all of the incredible work we do, and you will be making an impact in the lives of others for many years to come.
We are deeply grateful for your consideration in supporting
Resurrection Catholic Church and Resurrection Catholic Parish School
with your generous donations. Thank you for keeping us in your hearts.
