Time for an update! The Communications and Marketing team takes your feedback seriously. Back in February 2024, 87% of families and alumni who responded to our Branding and Communication Survey said it was time to update Crownie, our school mascot.

We are still the Regals (that will never change) but we have been exploring new and exciting ways to show off our Regal pride.

Over the past two weeks, students from preschool through high school have been casting their votes for their favorite new mascot design. Four options were revealed, and our students had the final say.

And yes, if your Regal is coming home telling you they voted and their vote counted, they are right. The big reveal is coming this August as we kick off a new school year. Stay tuned!

Roadwork Alert - May 5 to May 9

Starting Monday, May 5 at 8:00am, lane closures will begin at the Rochester & First Avenue intersection for water valve repair.

The eastbound through lane on Rochester will be closed.
The left turn lane on northbound First Avenue will be closed.

Expect delays and consider using alternate routes. Work will continue through Friday, May 9.

Reminder to register for the school bus for the 2025 - 2026 school year. To register, click here.

Before and After School Care 25-26 Announcement:

All current AM/PM families in good standing will receive a link to register for the AM/PM program for the 25-26 school year on June 2, 2025. The email will come from Procare. Only re-register current AM/PM students in the elementary AM/PM program. Please register by June 14th to hold your spot for the 25-26 school year.

If you have a student that has been accepted for Kindergarten, you will receive a separate email that will include a Google Form on June 23rd.

Regal Rewards Program Ending

The Regal Rewards program will conclude at the end of this school year. The final day to submit orders is May 19, and the last day to purchase eGift cards or for cash and carry is May 22. We are grateful to the many volunteers who have supported this program and look forward to future opportunities for family involvement at Regina.

Home and School Back to School Supplies

Now that registration, scholarship and ESA applications are checked off your list let home and school take care of your back to school supplies.

Avoid the chaos of the stores and lugging in multiple bags down the busy hallway. All ordered supplies will be waiting for your child in their new classroom at the back to school event in August. Let home and school take one thing off your already busy list so you can enjoy the sunny days of summer.

REGINA EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

This week, the ECC has been busy preparing for Grandparents Day on Friday, May 2nd! Students are thrilled to welcome their grandparents and show off their classrooms and the artwork they work so hard on every day.

We also had a special visitor—Mr. Sushi! Ms. Chris brought in her pet skunk to share with our ECC friends. He was incredibly sweet and absolutely adorable!

ECC Movie with the Student Ambassadors

ECC Parents enjoy a morning out while your student enjoys a movie morning with the student ambassadors! Join us on Saturday, May 3rd from 9-11am. Students can wear their pjs, bring a blanket and/or stuffie and enjoy the morning with popcorn and a movie.
