Be Respectful. Be Compassionate. Be Great.

"Challenge Accepted 2025-2026"

Leveling Up Together

Game on, TPSS families! We've almost crushed the first level of the school year (getting throught the first full week of school), and it's all thanks to the epic teamwork we've seen! From our students showing up ready to learn, to the families ensuring they arrived on time, and the teachers who worked so hard to prepare their classrooms and lessons, it's truly been a multiplayer approach to success.

Every single day of school attendance is a power-up, giving our students the XP they need to learn and grow. We're seeing some serious skill development as they tackle new challenges in their academic instruction, from mastering new quests in math to unlocking new worlds in reading.

But the real secret to our success is the incredible positive school culture we're building together. The encouraging words, friendly smiles, and helpful hands are creating a co-op environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and ready to face whatever the game throws our way. Keep up the amazing work, team—the next level is going to be even better!

ATTENDANCE

School Attendance

Parents and families are essential partners in promoting good attendance because they have the bottom-line responsibility for making sure their children get to school every day. Just as parents should focus on how their children are performing academically, they have a responsibility to set expectations for good attendance

and to monitor their children’s absences, so that missed days don’t add up to academic trouble.

Log into the Student Progress Center to track attendance records.

Watch our latest Coffee Talk with Superintendent Stilley as she and Mr. Ron Genco discuss back-to-school business and the importance of school attendance.

Stay in the loop with your child's academic journey!

Our Student Progress Center is the one-stop-shop for all your needs. Emails were sent to guardians this week with instructions on how to get started.

SCHOOL SAFETY

Back-to-School Safety

Creating a safe environment for our students is our highest priority. We want to assure you that we have a number of protocols in place to ensure the well-being of every student and staff member. Our staff receives regular training on emergency procedures, and we work closely with local law enforcement to review and update our safety plans.

We also believe that school safety is a shared responsibility, and we encourage you to talk with your children about the importance of following school rules and reporting any concerns to a trusted adult. By working together, we can create a welcoming and secure learning environment for everyone.

Here's to a safe, happy, and successful school year!

Stepping Toward Safer Schools:

  • secure, single point of access for our schools (gated entrances with cameras)
  • visitors report immediately to the front office and sign in
  • locked doors across campus
  • resource officers on campus
  • safety plan in place for every school
  • procedures in place and practiced regularly
  • installation and use of metal detectors
  • security cameras around campus
  • grant writing to increase safety infrastructure
  • strong relationships with local law enforcement
  • extra security at school and athletic events
  • open communication with families and the public
  • students and families can anonymously report safety concerns through our P3 App

If you know something, say something.

Family Involvement in Preventing Fights

The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. While schools take immediate action to address any incidents of fighting, we believe that family involvement is crucial in preventing such incidents.

Reach Out

As the school year gets underway, we want to remind our families that communication and partnership are key to student success. If you have any questions about your child’s progress, need support, or just want to stay more connected with what’s happening in the classroom, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Whether it's academic concerns, social-emotional support, or general school-related questions—we’re here to help. Together, we can make sure every student has the support they need to thrive this year!

Have a general question for the school district? Reach out to us through email.

Arrive on time. Stay all day.

Getting to school on time each morning is the start to a successful school year. Late arrivals not only cause students to miss important announcements and work, it also sets the tone for their day.

Schedule appointments during after school hours if possible. Early check-outs disrupt teaching and learning in the classroom.

SCHOOL LUNCH & BREAKFAST

What's on the Menu?

We are pleased to announce that students will receive breakfast and lunch free of charge again this year. You can use My School Bucks to add money to student accounts for extra snacks offered in the cafeteria.
