TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER
Letter from EACC Texas Board Chair, Ruth Baron

What a fabulous Fall here in Texas as we celebrated our fourth EU-Texas Economic Leadership Forum and European Ambassadors' Gala on October 24. It was an amazing turnout with our three guest ambassadors in attendance. Jovita Neliupšienė, European Union Ambassador to the United States, Szabolcs Takács, Hungarian Ambassador to the United States and our native Texan, Kay Bailey Hutchison, Former United States Ambassador to NATO. To see more coverage of these momentous events, please see the stories and links below. This was the only way I was able to feel part of the celebration as I was diagnosed with COVID two days before the events. I especially want to thank Erin McKelvey and EACC Texas Vice President Manny Schoenhuber for stepping up to the plate and speaking on my behalf. I was there with you in spirit.

As we look toward the close of 2024 and the start of 2025, I encourage you to review our upcoming in-person events, webinars, new memberships, and other member news. Our chamber continues to expand and thrive, thanks to your participation—whether you are attending, speaking, sponsoring, or simply showing continued enthusiasm for our mission to accelerate business between Europe and Texas.

It is an honor to be your Board Chair for the EACC Texas.

Happy Holidays,

Ruth
