Please note "Worthy Servant's Fund" in the memo line of checks.
Second Semester Remote Learning & Commitments
As we move toward the second semester, there are a few new aspects to this year that we are going to carry over from the first semester. First, we are committed to continuing the option of remote learning for the families that choose to exercise that learning option. We, as a community, a region, a state, a nation, and a world are going to be walking through our current pandemic issues for a little while longer. Certainly not forever, but big problems take time to solve. Meanwhile, we’ll work to manage the tension. In 2 Corinthians 4:18, the Apostle Paul says, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but the unseen is eternal.” Frustrated with masks? Fix your eyes on what is unseen. Frustrated with social distancing? Fix your eyes on what is unseen. Frustrated with life in general? Fix. Your. Eyes. On. What. Is. Unseen. Praise God for his wise, wise Word.

Second, we are also going to continue our practice from the first semester of expecting a commitment of the entirety of the second semester tuition (according to your selected payment plan) if enrolled at Evansville Christian School on January 4, 2021 (the first day of the second semester). To reiterate what I shared throughout this past summer, we run very lean as an organization in order to keep tuition as low as possible given the costs to operate a high quality educational organization across multiple campuses, even in a distance learning scenario.

Those who are struggling...let our Business Office know (by emailing Nerissa Foor, Business Manager, and let us work with you to create solutions to temporary situations. Again, it is critical that our families recognize that tuition does much more than provide a geographic location for a child. It allows a Christ-centered education to thrive in a world where moral, spiritual, and cultural foundations are incredibly broken.

Team…I thank God for the privilege of leading our school through this season. We have a great team of leaders, teachers, staff, students, families, board members, and community partners that make it all happen. Every person is critical to success. On behalf of Evansville Christian School…thank you!
WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19
COVID SCREENING GUIDE FOR PARENTS - Every morning, parents should utilize this daily screening tool from the Indiana State Department of Health to determine whether or not to send your child to school. *Please notice the clarification per the ISDH that states a close contact is defined by being within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24 hour period.
We have a dedicated phone line at ECS for reporting a positive COVID case in your family. If an ECS student or immediate family member receives a positive COVID test result, we're asking that you call the following number: 812-470-5423. That phone will be monitored by a rolling member of our administrative staff who will instruct you on next steps.
