The California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Boardadopted the June 11 ETS revisions. These revisions are now in effect.
Important changes in the June 11 emergency temporary standard proposal include:
·Fully vaccinated employees do not need to be offered testing or excluded from work after close contact unless they have COVID-19 symptoms.
·Fully vaccinated employees do not need to wear face coverings except for certain situations during outbreaks and in settings where CDPH requires all persons to wear them. Employers must document the vaccination status of fully vaccinated employees if they do not wear face coverings indoors.

There are three (3) California state mandates the City of Fountain Valley would like to bring to the attention of Fountain Valley business owners: Assembly Bill 341 (AB341), Assembly Bill 1826 (AB1826), and Assembly Bill 827 (AB827).
Recently, the City of Fountain Valley acquired the streetlights from Southern California Edison (SCE) to convert the streetlights to LED lighting in order to reduce costs, and provide better lighting, to enhance safety on streets in the community.
There are both economic and safety benefits of LED street lighting.
The City of Fountain Valley Home Improvement Program Reopening
After a year of limited service due to COVID-19 restrictions, the City of Fountain Valley Home Improvement Program is reopening for exterior and interior repairs. Financial assistance is available in the form of grants, rebates, and low-interest loans for income eligible single-family home and mobile home owners.
The City of Fountain Valley and Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce will partner with Orange County Transportation Authority to launch the FREE 405 Forward Pilot Program. We will highlight businesses along the I-405 Improvement Project. This program is designed to encourage communities to eat at local restaurants, shop at local retailers and use local services. Communities are encouraged to share their favorite local restaurants, retailers and service providers with their neighbors using the 405 Forward Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/405forward.
