A Little (Education) Treat

Give yourself the gift of learning at the Zoo! We have a fun class for adults coming up soon!

Adults can explore the weird world of animal diets! Find out the answers to all your most pressing questions, like why is a red panda a carnivore if they mostly eat bamboo, or why do some animals (like rabbits and dogs) eat their own poo? Plus, learn about what humans eat and why! This class includes animal ambassador visits and a tour behind the scenes of the Zoo’s diet kitchen.

“Are You Going To Eat That?” is November 24, 2-4 pm, $25 per person. Zoo Members get a 10% discount!

A Season of Giving

Why do YOU love the Potawatomi Zoo? Is it the train? Summer camp for the kids? The baby giraffe?

“The thing that I like about the Zoo is that I get to spend time with my family…and my favorite animal is the spider monkey!” -Beatrix, age 5

We all have our own reasons for loving the Zoo. This season, we are asking you to think of YOUR why, and help the Zoo continue to spread joy in the community. Your gift today helps us continue our mission of inspiring excellence in conservation, education, and improved animal quality of life.
