I was speaking with a new client last week, let's call him Joe, and I asked him now that you have your protected income for life guaranteed, how do you feel?
He replied, “Well... now I can find something else to worry about!"
That gave me a good laugh. He said it with wry humor, but it was the truth.
We have plenty of things we can worry about. Our income in retirement does not have to be one of them.
Joe no longer has to worry about the ups and downs of the Market or interest rates dropping. He knows if he predeceases his wife, her income will be guaranteed for her life as well.
That was very important to him.
So now that Joe has 100% security of protected income, he has the Freedom to spend his money in any scenario our economy brings. He told me he is going to take the trips he and his wife have been wanting to go on without worrying about what the Market may be doing.
In life, there are so many things we worry about. Wouldn’t you like to feel like Joe?
Wouldn’t you like to never worry about your income at this time of your life? Haven’t you worked hard to deserve that?
