How to Pull Monthly Reporting for P2

Do you have questions on how to pull monthly reporting?

This section will teach you how to pull reports to be plugged into the monthly P2 reporting that goes to MANNA.

Step-by-step guide here: Essential Statistics Report

  1. Log into your admin agency account on the MCI platform.
  2. On the home page, click the 3-bar icon in the top left section.
  3. Within the drop-down menu, scroll to the bottom and click "Reports".
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the reports section until you reach "Essential Statistics Report" and click on it.
  5. Filter the options by the month you are pulling reports for.
  6. Make note of the duplicated and unduplicated households that need to be reported on.
  7. Agencies will be utilizing the duplicated numbers into P2.

This information is pulled directly from the agency resource page.

Please reach out to our team if there are any other concepts you would like a monthly breakdown for!

MONTHLY FOCUS: TEFAP Best Practices & Guidelines

Earlier this month, the MCI team participated in a TEFAP webinar that all of our TEFAP agencies were invited to. If you missed that event or the MCI section, here is a quick recap on current best practices and guidelines.

TEFAP training webinar video can be found here: MANNA TEFAP Webinar

MCI TEFAP Best Practices:

  • Always search for neighbor's name before adding a new household.
  • When doing intake, always select Food Pantry + TEFAP for all TEFAP visits.
  • Add state, zip, and county to every household.
  • Look for *required fields & orange buttons to continue move onto next page.
  • Check with the neighbor every time if any information has changed.

Eligibility Guidelines:

  • Whoever is doing TEFAP intake must confirm income eligibility every time.
  • If a neighbor qualifies for SNAP, they do not need to share income details.
  • If a neighbor does not qualify for SNAP, they are required to verify their eligibility by informing the intake volunteer of income amount. In these instances it is recommended to ask the monthly amount.
  • Always double check the "Program Eligibility" section.
  • Do not leave income amount blank. If a neighbor is making $0, please put that in the required fields.

Proxy Guidelines:

  • If proxy picks up, their name will need to be selected for the verbal signature section.
  • Mark all proxies to expire on the date of 9/30, as every TEFAP cycle starts October 1st.

Please note, that there is currently only one approved TEFAP form: Intake TEFAP form

If you are working on a separate form or sheet before entering it into MCI, please get it approved by emailing: vchilds@mannafoodbank.org

We have not yet received the 2026-2027 income guidelines from the state. Once received, these will automictically be updated in MCI, and we upload the 2026-2027 TEFAP forms to the Agency Resource website.

Our team is here to support you and your agency. Please let us know if you have any TEFAP related questions!

Need more information about SNAP?

  • SNAP materials are available on the shopping list in P2. These are great to have available during intake to distribute to neighbors that may be eligible for SNAP or would like help with their application.

Backdating intake forms

  • If for some reason you are unable to complete live intake in MCI, you can always back-date entries to ensure all of your neighbors and visits have been captured.

MCI Financial Incentive

Once your pantry has collected 6 months of data through MCI, you will receive a $1000 award! This can be used for a variety of things, such as more tablets, equipment, tables, and more! Please reach out to the MCI team with any questions.

*Please note that these funds will be distributed via check. These funds are intended to support your pantry — food purchasing, internet service, etc. No reporting is necessary after receiving these funds.
