President's Message
Happy Aloha Friday!
I know I spoke of getting into the "Fall" season in the last newsletter, but I haven't felt it yet; except for the pumpkin latte's and sweets. Just keep those sweaters and jackets stored away for a little bit longer.
We are in full swing of Design and Construction Awards season! All award ceremonies are virtual so if you have the time, please consider joining some our Industry Partner's award presentations from BIA Hawaii and ASID Hawaii (details/dates below).
In addition to our award ceremonies going virtual, the big Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and the International Builders Show (IBS) will now be virtual in 2021, complete with educational seminars, vendor videos and the National design competition presentation.
This month's free webinar series from National is up on the website. October's theme is "Storage Design Trends". See topics and link below. November's preview of webinars, "Design Software" is up on the website.
We would like to share news and achievements of our members! Please feel free to send us your company news, additions to your workforce, new products or promo's, tips while working in the era of COVID, etc. Please send your info to our Communications Chair here.
Our programs committee is still working on other educational and fun events (virtually) for the rest of the year. We also have a few surprises for our members so stay tuned. If you would like to learn about a certain topic, have an idea to share for future events, or would like to volunteer with the council on various committees, please reach out to us. We would love to hear from you.
