If you pick up a print book for a course you later drop you must return the print book back to the ISU Bookstore by September 23rd or you will be charged a Replacement fee.

How to Review Your Booklist
Starting August 12th, undergraduate and graduate students will be able to review their booklist. Undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in Immediate Access ONE upon enrolling in classes. Please review your booklist BEFORE opting out. Your personal booklist can be viewed in two ways:
On August 12th you will receive an email from Iowa State University Book Store <no-reply@verbasoftware.com> with a link to view your booklist in Canvas
Log into the ISU BookStore webpage with your ISU ID and select MY CURRICULUM then FALL 2024. Finally, click begin shopping.
If you want to opt-out of Immediate Access ONE and purchase all your required books individually, the opt-out button is live in Canvas starting August 12th.

What is included in Immediate Access ONE?
Any required books, eBooks, coursepackets, and lab manuals are included in Immediate Access ONE. Homework platforms (Connect, MyLab, Advantage, PackBack, etc.) and access codes are included, too.
Can I opt out of Immediate Access ONE and re-enroll later if I change my mind?
Yes, you have the option to opt out of Immediate Access ONE via Canvas within the first 10 days from the start of classes. If you opt out during this period, you will receive a refund. If you change your mind, you can also re-enroll in Immediate Access ONE via Canvas within the first 10 days of classes.
How do I buy digital/print textbooks if I opt out?
Take a look at your book list, which also features the online price comparison tool. Both print and digital requirements will be available for individual purchase. After you checkout, digital items will be emailed to you with activation instructions. Print textbooks can be picked up in store or shipped.
