About our Winter Programs

Cross-country skiing is a fantastic family sport, with many children hitting the trails alongside their parents as soon as they can walk.

At Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, our "learn to ski" programs for ages 4-12 are incredibly popular and provide a fun and supportive environment for young skiers to develop. With the guidance from our exceptional coaches and dedicated volunteers, participants build strong technical skills, improve their physical fitness, and foster a lifelong love of the outdoors.

Our programs are designed to help every child enjoy the magic of winter sports, while embracing a healthy, active lifestyle.

Become a Coach!!

(Why Become a Coach)

Do you love cross-country skiing and want to share that passion with others? You don’t need to be the best skier to make a positive impact—just a love for the sport! Becoming a coach at Caledonia Nordic Ski Club offers so much more than teaching skiing skills; it's about building relationships, developing valuable life skills, and being part of a positive, like-minded community.

Why coach?

  • The energy and smiles from athletes are contagious!
  • Skiing is FUN, and sharing that fun is even better!
  • Watching athletes improve is incredibly rewarding.
  • Enjoy being outside, especially on those magical evenings under the lights at OTWAY.
  • And let’s not forget...fun games, hot chocolate, ski wax, and ski friends!

Join our coaching team and help create unforgettable experiences on snow this winter. We’d love to have you!
