Online Prayer Meeting - Wednesdays at 7pm

Prayer is a vital discipline for all Christians. Grace Pointe offers a brief, 45-minute prayer meeting to intercede on behalf of our church, community, country, and the world. The prayer meeting host will begin by sharing a verse or two from Scripture, then lead in a time of guided prayer. The meeting will finish with an open time of prayer and requests.

1) We need OTC Medicines to help Guatemalan families in need:
****- Ibuprofen, Tums, Pepto Bismol (chewable, no liquid please), cold medicines (no *******liquids please), first aid/antibiotic ointment, Band-Aid Packs, multipurpose *******vitamins. Please place items in the bin at the NMI table in the foyer.

*All donations are needed in by Sunday, November 6th. THANK YOU!!!
Twenty-two million children receive free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program and the National School Breakfast Program. For many of these children, school meals may be the only meals they eat. What happens when they go home over the weekend?

Grace Pointe has been partnering with a local elementary school each year to help children get the nutritious and easy-to-prepare food they need to get enough to eat on the weekends. With your help, we can provide more food to more children in need.

How Can I Help?
· Donate food. Our VBS program kicks off each year with hundreds of donations from families and children, but it’s not enough to last the entire school year. Food donations are accepted throughout the year and must be single-serve, easy open (pull-tab or pouch).
· Donate cash. Storage is limited. We purchase food items and perishable items (such as fruit) throughout the year. Cash donations are always welcome and can be made through the collection boxes in a marked envelope or the online platform (just specify it is for Backpack Buddies).
· Child Sponsorship. Your $150 can provide a child with weekend food for the 2022-2023 school year. We have a goal of fully sponsoring a minimum of 25 children this year.

GP EXTRAS
Do You Buy Gift Cards?

Did you know that you can support our youth when buying those cards without spending anything additional? Well, you can - through the RaiseRight/Scrip program, where a portion of all gift card purchases goes to help our youth attend special events like mission trips and NYC (Nazarene Youth Conference).

Don't like to actually give gift cards? That's okay. You can purchase cards to have on hand when you do your own shopping - grocery stores, Walmart, restaurants, entertainment, etc. Most cards are available both in physical form as well as electronically. They can be purchased online via the link below or by filling out a form with cash/check payment (available at the Information Center).

  • Order by Nov 13th for delivery by Nov 20th
  • Order by Nov 27th for delivery by Dec 4th
  • Order by Dec 11th for delivery by Dec 18th

With the holiday season quickly approaching, this is the perfect time to order those cards and benefit the youth at the same time without spending anything extra! Thank you so much for your support!!!

*For any questions, please contact Shelly McGarry.
