Greetings!
This past year we’ve enjoyed commemorating the CEEE’s 50th anniversary and the strides we made together in furthering economic, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education in Delaware and beyond. We’ve excitedly celebrated our history and accomplishments, made possible by our constituents and community partners, faculty, and staff.
We are delighted to share with you some of the impactful activities and accomplishments that took place in 2021:
- The James B. O’Neill directorship was established to honor our founder in perpetuity and provide the CEEE with financial stability!
- Our after- and in-school professional learning sessions provided teachers with the just-in-time support they needed, and at no cost to them.
- Grade-appropriate resources were sent regularly and directly to educators’ email inboxes.
- Professional learning opportunities were converted to accessible online offerings.
- Topical seminars provided knowledge on current events so that educators could make their lessons more relatable for students.
- We developed and utilized proven and inspiring curricula to equip our citizenry with the critical literacy skills needed to foster better decision-making.
As we wrap up our fifth decade in service to K-12 teachers, we are truly grateful to all of our constituents for the support and partnership they’ve provided along the way. We’ve made great strides together – Thank YOU. With your help, we look forward to continuing this good work through the next 50 years.
Cheers to a happier and healthier new year!
