NHP Staff Highlight: IT Support Specialist

Meet Steve Pacheco!

Steve was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado, and is a proud single parent of two wonderful daughters, as well as a doting grandparent to three grandchildren. His family also includes three beloved “doggie babies” who keep life fun and full of energy. Outside of work, Steve loves being outdoors—camping, hiking, fishing, exploring new trails, and visiting national parks. He’s also an avid motorcycle rider and participates in annual charity rides, including Toys for Tots and Suicide Prevention runs.

Steve studied IT at AIMS Community College and completed CompTIA A+ coursework through LeadQuest. He has spent more than 20 years building a passionate career in the IT field, working in Tape Library operations, Data Centers, NOC environments, and as a Desktop Supervisor—including six years with Google. Steve joined NHP in March 2024 and feels grateful for the opportunity to serve and support his community through his current role.

Fun Fact: A fan of adventure, Steve completed the 5.5-mile Spartan Sprint in Breckenridge and recently traveled to Cabo San Lucas—both experiences he describes as unforgettable.
