World Housing was founded as an international charitable organization in 2013, and to date we have built over 800 life-changing homes for families in desperate need around the world.
If you call Vancouver home, you know firsthand the tragic state of homelessness in our city. The crisis is getting worse day by day with an average of 5 people per week entering homelessness.
It is our core belief that everyone deserves a home, and after searching for the right local project and partners, we are proud to have joined forces with Streettohome and Union Gospel Mission to help fund this building.
Join us as we watch the official opening of this amazing community that will provide stability, hope and foster opportunities for women in desperate need. We will also be holding a World Housing special event for our donors when the facility is in full operation, with an exclusive inside peek at the new centre and the homes you have funded. More updates to come!
Thank you to all our World Housing donors who contributed to this project -- you have helped to provide brighter futures for Vancouver’s most vulnerable mothers.
Thank you for your continued support!
