Welcome to the 2027 JEPB-UNF Environmental Symposium!

“Bridging Disciplines to Cultivate Resilient Communities”

The time has come for one of Northeast Florida’s most anticipated environmental events of the year! The JEPB-UNF Environmental Symposium is your chance to connect directly with the agencies shaping environmental policy and to be part of the conversation that drives real change in our region. This year, we’re continuing with exciting additions and expanded opportunities to engage, learn, and lead.

Before we open registration to the general public, we want to extend an opportunity to potential exhibitors to sign up. We hope to have many of you return and we are always welcome to having new organizations join us.

Thursday Evening Community Session

We’re kicking off the symposium with a special Thursday evening event at The Main Library in Downtown Jacksonville. This intimate session is designed specifically for neighborhood organizations and community leaders—providing tools, insights, and inspiration to strengthen grassroot environmental stewardship.

Friday Main Event at UNF

On Friday, we return to the Adam W. Herbert University Center for a full day of dynamic workshops, expert panels, and networking with environmental professionals, advocates, and changemakers. Whether you're a seasoned expert or just getting started, there’s something for everyone.

Be a Part of the Event – Become a Partner or Exhibitor

As we are unable to have sponsors for the symposium, as has been the case in the past, exhibitors and partners play a vital role in helping to defray the costs in making this event possible.

Note - as you may be aware, the costs for most everything are higher. With that, we have made a very modest increase. We are hopeful that you are understanding of this and realize that it remains a significant great value for you.

We’ve continued new participation categories to better recognize your support. This new Partner category is a way to offer additional exposure and other benefits and is a great way for your organization to support the event:

Registration for exhibitors and partners will be open through December 1st

Signup this year will again be through Eventbrite. As noted above, some of the categories are limited. We are changing the footprint of the event slightly which will increase the number of exhibitors we may have. We want to ensure the maximum exposure possible for you, so we must still limit the total number of exhibits, but it will be increased to 35 this year. Spots go fast and with those added variables, we encourage you to sign up as early as possible!!

Each year the symposium presents a unique opportunity for members of the community to interact with the regulatory agencies responsible for developing and implementing environmental policy, consultants and firms that implement key environmental projects and organizations supporting them all. Attendees have an opportunity to better understand environmental goals for our community. The event provides valuable opportunities for communication and helps to further the goal of protecting our limited natural resources and improving the quality of life in Northeast Florida.

We look forward to having you join us.
