Wanderlust-inducing content

At the Convention we will meet Yaya and Lloyd, the award-winning travel duo who create wanderlust-inducing content under the moniker Hand Luggage Only.

Founded in 2014 while studying, the pair have since built their travel blog into a global sensation that gets over 1 million monthly unique visitors.

The creator marketing industry isn’t showing any signs of slowing, with brands set to spend significant sums on influencer marketing in 2023. In conversation with Chris Ship, Yaya and Lloyd will answer all your questions about working with influencers.
Why I am attending

“I’ve always valued time spent at the Travel Convention and this year I’m looking forward to being part of an overseas Convention again.

"It’s important that we step away from our desks and screens and I hope I’ll come back with new and refreshed contacts and a notebook full of ideas.

“The content looks informative and I’m looking forward to seeing Rory Stewart as I’m a big fan of his podcast – The Rest is Politics.” Rachel O’Reilly, Director of Communications, Kuoni

Cash is king

Intrepid Travel’s latest tip is to bring cash with you to Morocco. You will be able to change your pounds into Morocco’s national currency, the Dirham when you arrive.

The Bureau de Change at the airport is as good as any other place. ATMs are also reliable and plentiful in Marrakech – which is handy since cash is king in Morocco!
Social networking

Delegates will be able to continue informal networking until late at the ever-popular Convention Bar on all three evenings of the Convention.

Head to the Manso Bar and its poolside terrace at the Convention hotel at the end of the evening. The bar offers views of the pool area and the gardens.
