A Message from the Headmaster
Dear Archway Trivium Families,
As we enter a time of year that involves reflection, appreciation, joy, and gratitude, I invite you to join us in celebrating gratitude with our academy on December 2 for #GivingTuesday. This day of giving was created to focus on doing good for the community after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.
I am grateful to our parents who already support our classrooms through Community Investment. On Giving Tuesday, our intent is to fulfill our Community Investment goal as outlined below. I invite families who have not yet supported our school this year to make a gift during #GivingTuesday to show their gratitude. All gifts made on Giving Tuesday will support our operating budget and help us close the funding gap of $1,500 per student. "Fieldside Chat" with Headmaster Scott - Friday, December 5
All Archway parents are invited to join Headmaster Scott on the bleachers of our athletic field on Friday, December 5, at 2:15 PM.
You can simply line up, ready for pick-up and park your car in the line. At 2:50 PM, we will adjourn and return to the cars to prepare to receive the scholars. If there are topics or questions you would like Dr. Scott to address during this time, please email them in advance to Mrs. Dean at sdean@archwaytrivium.org.

Barnes & Noble Book Fair - December 7-13
The Barnes and Noble bookstore on Litchfield Road will be hosting a Book Fair from December 7-13 (online through December 18). Family Community Service Day at Feed My Starving Children - Dec 19
We have the opportunity to kick off our Winter Break by serving others at Feed My Starving Children on Friday, December 19 from 12PM-2PM. FMSC is a nonprofit located in Tempe that turns hunger into hope with the help of volunteers. Children ages 5 and up are invited to volunteer with an adult to pack bags of life-sustaining meals for children and families around the globe. Look for the sign-up next week! This event fills up quickly, so be sure to sign up quickly if you'd like to secure your spot!

In addition, we have two complete-at-home service project opportunities for families over Winter Break. Families are encouraged to make Birthday Cards and/or Friendship Bracelets which will be donated to the Foster Alliance. Open Enrollment for New/Current 5th Grade Students Now Available
Open Enrollment is Coming! Great Hearts Open Enrollment for new families will take place from October 20-Deacember 31. This enrollment is primarily for students applying for in Kindergarten in 2026-27 and 5th grade students applying for 6th Grade enrollment at Trivium Prep in 2026-27.
Current K-4th grade students DO NOT participate in Open Enrollment. Re-enrollment for Kinder-4th Grade families will take place in Spring 2026. More information to follow.

School Messenger Communication
Great Hearts and Archway Trivium continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.
