Parental Choice Tax Credit
Info Sessions
| | |
Many BK families indicated that they didn't take advantage of the Idaho Parental Choice Tax Credit because they didn't think they were eligible, or didn't know how to get started. We heard you, and we're here to help! Join us for one of two informational sessions on November 18!
We will be sending a Just In Time email about these info sessions next week. Look for that in your in-box for details and an RSVP form.

Dear Bishop Kelly Families,
Next week is Red Ribbon Week at Bishop Kelly! Red Ribbon Week is the United States' largest and longest-running annual drug and alcohol use prevention awareness campaign for kids and teens. Next week BK students will be engaging in activities that promote healthy living, free of drugs and alcohol.
Thursday we kicked off our Red Ribbon Week celebration with an all school assembly featuring two Boise Police Department officers who talked about the dangers of vaping, alcohol, and other drugs. They shared that students can exit a bad scenario and some scenarios of when to call for emergency help.
On Tuesday, October 27th, BK Parents are invited to the "Tall Cop" presentation at BK. Texas LEO Jermaine Galloway has worked in substance abuse prevention and education for more than 25 years. His program, “High in Plain Sight”, is a nationally recognized program, that provides training, education, and enforcement strategies for community substance abuse issues. This is a great resource for parents!
Throughout the week there will be fun and informative activities and dress up days at BK. Please see below for a complete listing of the student activities that will take place during Red Ribbon Week at BK.
God Bless and Go Knights!

-
Parents are asked to email the school’s Attendance Office before 9:30am on the day a student will be absent from class for all or part of the school day due to an illness or an appointment. That email is attendance@bk.org
