Greetings FTA Members and Friends!
It is 31 days to the start of the 108th Florida State Shoot! Impressive number isn't it. We have been busy gathering Sponsors, Hats, Shirts and Trophies. The Trophy Committee has put together a package I think all will be happy with! Also again this year member Paul Becker and crew will be doing the Hot Dog lunch give away sponsored by the Silver Dollar and FTA. Dates for the Lunch will be posted in the Clubhouse.
The up to-date State Shoot Program is posted to the FTA and Silver Dollar web sites for your reading enjoyment. The shoot is also on Pre-Squad.com.
Nominations for FTA Officers and Directors are due to our FTA Secretary NLT 5 March 2024. Current Officers and Directors that wish to remain in their position are requested to make notification to the Secretary by that date as well. Nominations should only be submitted AFTER the person being nominated has agreed to hold such position. I suggest all who are interested in serving in a position, read the position description listed in our By-Laws. Our By-Laws are posted on our web site for your reading enjoyment.
Listed in the two attachments are the Proposed By-Law changes submitted by members for vote at this years Annual Meeting. The changes are submitted in two parts, first as currently written, then as the suggested change written in red. Each suggestion will be voted on separately. It is my hope all will read the proposals, form an opinion and Vote YES if you favor the suggestion, or Vote NO if not.
Our 2024 Hall of Fame Tournament and Dinner were well attended. We had good weather Friday and Saturday. Bad weather forecast for Sunday was cause for reduced shooter participation. The HOF Dinner was a sellout and the meal was excellent! Good job HOF Committee.
