Half-Day on October 13

Please note that Monday, October 13 (Indigenous Peoples' Day) will be a half-day for students due to afternoon teacher training.

Dismissal will follow our normal half-day schedule:

• Little Stars & CPG – 11:30 AM
• Arbor – 11:35 AM
• Academy – 11:40 AM
• Ambassadors – 11:50 AM

United Nations Day – October 24, 10 AM - 1 PM

United Nations Day is a long-standing Oneness-Family School tradition celebrating global harmony and the UN’s mission. The event welcomes ambassadors and diplomats and empowers students as compassionate global citizens through performances that highlight peace, cooperation, and human potential.

This year’s celebration is Friday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with CPG–Grade 12 dismissed at 1:30 p.m. (Little Stars will have a full day). We warmly invite all OFS families to join us for this inspiring day of connection and celebration.

Share a Dish, Share Your Heritage!

After the ceremony, parents, embassy guests, and our Ambassadors and High School students are invited to enjoy a delicious luncheon featuring dishes that celebrate the diverse heritages of our Oneness-Family School community. We hope you’ll share a favorite family recipe or regional specialty with us!

We are still in great need of dish contributions to make this event a true feast of cultures. Whether it’s a main dish, side, salad, or dessert, every contribution helps create a more vibrant and abundant table for all to enjoy.

Last Chance to Sign Up for Your United Nations Day Flags!

OFS Families are invited to wave flags as part of our flag ceremony at United Nations Day on October 24.

Please fill out the flag sign-up form below by tonight (October 13) to ensure that we honor your place of origin and have enough flags for your family.

Prorated Extended Care Now Available

Families not yet enrolled in extended care—or looking to add before care or after care—can now register for prorated extended care from October through June. To enroll, please complete the online form linked below.

Help Fill Out the Oneness World Map!

As we get ready to celebrate United Nations Day, a world map has been placed in the main hallway across from the front office. We warmly invite students, parents, caregivers, visitors, and friends to mark the places you and your family come from by adding a push-pin to the map.

Our goal is that by UN Day on October 24, the map will be filled with pins—a colorful reflection of the rich diversity within the Oneness-Family School community!
