It's National Teacher Appreciation Day!

Thank a Teacher Today. 💜

On this National Teacher Appreciation Day, Science Discovery would like to take a moment to express gratitude for teachers and school partners who work tirelessly to provide safe, affirming, and engaging spaces for the young learners in their care. YOU are the STEAM engine that inspires our students. Our work and partnerships are not possible without dedicated teachers like you – thank you for all that you do!

Water in the Four Corners Workshop

On April 26th, CU Science Discovery, the STROBE Science and Technology Center, and Fort Lewis College facilitated the 2025 Water in the Four Corners workshop. Focused on a diverse range of topics within water science for upper elementary and middle school students, 13 educators from the Four Corners region of CO and NM gathered for a productive day of collaboration and hands-on exploration around water science and local water issues. As part of the workshop, educators were given a kit of water science materials to test with their classrooms in fall 2026.

Science Discovery is keen to partner with more schools and teachers to share these educational resources and training around water science. If you're interested in bringing this opportunity to your area, reach out via email and let's talk!
