Following last week's Winston Student Council elections, the newly elected members wasted no time getting to work. This week, they eagerly stepped into their roles and responsibilities, collaborating to plan next month's Spirit Month activities. The interactions were marked by positivity, teamwork, and enthusiasm, setting a promising tone for the year ahead. The Council is grateful to our teachers, Messrs. Nunley and Ocaña, for their leadership roles.

Yesterday, we held our first Parent Association meeting of the new school year at Darshan Bakery, where new families had the opportunity to meet our leadership team, make new connections, and discuss ways to increase engagement in supporting our students and staff. To encourage broader participation from our community, we plan to rotate meeting times throughout the year. If you are interested in joining or taking on a leadership role, please email Maureen Kendrick at maureen.kendrick@thewinstonschool.org.
