I'll be holding my next Watercolor Studio class in my home studio starting January 9th from 1 to 4pm. Why are my classes called Watercolor Studio? Because I'd like you to think of our time together as your studio time. My goal is to visit each of the 6 students a couple times during a class to give advice or answer questions on their current painting. Each student brings images or ideas they'd like to explore as they work on their own projects. Mini demos that may apply to your next step will be done by April, as needed.
In some classes I'll do a generic demonstration to all the students, but will keep these to about 15 minutes so you don't lose a lot of painting time. For students who are earlier in their experience with watercolor, I'll also spend time discussing basic painting techniques and explain paint characteristics that you may want to consider when purchasing paint, The goal is to make sure you are getting paint that will help you succeed and not fade with time.
The class will continue for 3 more 3-hour sessions on January 23, February 6, and February 20, 2025.
There is only one spot open in the winter class. Contact me if you are interested at arimpo@gmail.com or call me at 443-766-0148. Please leave a message if I am not available.
12 hours of customized instruction is provided for $200. My students range from beginners to intermediate. All are welcome. There is parking behind our house, so easy to get in and out without juggling parking. If we have weather problems or icy conditions, I'll let you know if the class is cancelled and when we will make it up. Since classes occur every other week, it is likely the makeup day will be one week after originally planned. For example, if I have to cancel January 23, the make-up would be on January 30. We're all rooting for less snow, like we've experienced for the last few years.
Winter can be tricky, so if a session is cancelled due to weather and no makeup can be scheduled, April will refund the cost of the omitted class.
