Mississauga ON (July 10, 2024) – The CGSA and BCGSA are excited to announce the partnership of two great events this coming September 2024.

The CGSA Fall Field Day National Championship is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club with festivities beginning the evening before with the Toro Welcome Reception.

The BCGSA has traditionally held their Exchange Event in late August, moving the event throughout the province. The BCGSA Board of Directors unanimously agreed to move The Exchange Event to align with the CGSA Fall Field Day and will host The Exchange at University Golf Club on September 24, 2024.

Registration will be offered as an all-inclusive package; allowing attendees to register once at one rate and participate in all functions as part of the FFD and Exchange events. This will include:

  • 18 holes of golf with a cart

Both CGSA and the BCGSA will also offer an educational seminar, sponsored by Envu, to everyone who is registered.

CGSA President, John McLinden, AGS said, “We are thrilled to be hosting the Fall Field Day alongside the BCGSA. I know our members who make the trip to Vancouver will be welcomed by our colleagues in BC. I am excited to participate in both events.”

The combined event will be an excellent opportunity to showcase two incredible golf courses in Vancouver and treat attendees to excellent networking, education and camaraderie.

BCGSA President, Brett Finlayson echoed, “BCGSA is excited to welcome many CGSA members from across the country and look forward to having those individuals participate in our provincial event. It will be great to network with so many varied people.”

Tee sponsorship packages will be available and will allow companies who wish to support both events with one price. There will be additional sponsorship opportunities that will be available for both organizations and more details will be available by reaching out to either Barb Manifold (bmanifold@golfsupers.com) at CGSA or Jenn Rozek (jrozek@bcgsa.com) at BCGSA.
