We love to see good things happening! For those that may not be familiar, TCC has helped support the mission of this church.
From Port-au-Prince to Indianapolis, God’s call continues!
Pastor Elie Vendredi’s journey from leading a thriving church in Haiti to planting the Upper Room Church in Indianapolis is a powerful story of faith, resilience, and mission. As the Haitian immigrant population grows, so do the needs—and the opportunities to serve.
The Upper Room Church is doing incredible work providing spiritual community and practical support to those rebuilding their lives. But they can’t do it alone. Read more here

Baby Bottle Campaign for Clarity
Clarity is our mission emphasis for May. Mother’s Day through Father’s Day on June 15, we will be participating in their Baby Bottle Campaign. Please grab a bottle on Sunday, fill it with coins, cash, or checks written to Clarity.
A little information about Clarity: Clarity’s investment begins with an abundance of care and compassion because You Matter. Through Clarity’s holistic care and proven resources, we offer everyone who walks through our doors a judgment-free, safe place to address the physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual aspects of their life. For over 40 years, Clarity has walked alongside thousands of individuals in central Indiana to help them create a future of hope. Clarity’s holistic care is focused on helping every individual invest in themself, empower them to make wise decisions, and find healing based on education, truth, and compassion. Clarity strives to help everyone experience the freedom needed to build a healthy foundation and realize the value of every aspect of life through prevention, intervention, and restoration care. These include pregnancy services, ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, counseling, resources, restoration care groups, school education, women’s health care, and parenting courses – all designed to help those in our communities

Waiting On The Lord
by Josh Callahan
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;my soul waits for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
Psalm 30:5-6
When I think of the word waiting, I find myself impatient. Sometimes waiting for the Lord's answer, His leading, is difficult for my impatient self. However, every time I have run ahead of the Lord, I have found myself in a mess! I think my problem is that I find the word waiting as a passive and not an active declaration. When I am waiting for what God has for me next, for example, I am not called to sit back but to actively seek the Lord in what I can do now. To wait upon Him is to serve Him in the here and now, trusting He has my future. To surrender our desires to God's hands and let Him and His plans for us unfold. God tells us that His plans for us are good and prosperous when we seek Him with all of our heart (Jeremiah 29:11).
For many people, this time of year brings excitement and possibly some anxiety as graduations take place, moving from one season to another. If you feel like you are waiting for what God has for you, keep actively waiting for His direction. If you feel like you are in the wilderness as our ancestors did waiting to arrive to the Promised Land, let us wait with expectation that God will show us the direction He wants us to go and will deliver us. We can actively wait (serve Him, follow Him) in the here and now. If we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness each day, the rest will fall in place as it should when we let Him lead us. When we wait, we will find joy in our hope for God's plans and knowing that God's timing is perfect. He will renew our strength as we wait upon Him (Isaiah 40:31).
Jesus, don't let me run ahead of you but stay beside you, serving you, each day. I trust you with my life and know your plans for me are good. Help me to wait upon you and your timing on your plans for my life and lead me in the here and now to actively serve you. Amen.

Blue Food Box
There is a Blue Food Box on the corner of the Town Center Church parking lot. We are in need of non-perishable food items so we can stock the Food Box each week. Bring your donations to the church lobby and put in the box under the coat rack.
Congregational Care Team
We do have a Congregational Care Team that will assist with hospital visits, bereavement, visitor follow-up, and other congregational care needs. Phyllis Martfeld is leading this team, so you can contact her through the church office.
Children’s Program
Did you know? There are volunteers for the nursery for infants through 3 year olds and also a program for children up to 5th grade every Sunday during the Worship Service. Please see Leslie Schrieber if you have any questions.

My Neighbors
Listed is a website so you can see who all your neighbors are in your surrounding area. Just go to blesseveryhome.com and you will see the names of your neighbors. The vision is so every home in America would be adopted by neighboring Christians who are committed to ministering to them through long-term, pray-care-share lifestyles.
