Seneca Regional of Chamber & TSEP Announce Merger

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership have announced a merger to create a unified organization dedicated to business growth and economic development in Seneca County.

Following independent votes by both executive boards last week, this decision brings business advocacy, workforce development, and economic initiatives under one strategic organization to better serve the business community.

A transition committee, composed of leadership from both organizations, will oversee the next steps, including the hiring of a President & CEO. The focus remains on seamless integration, ensuring enhanced services, resources, and advocacy efforts for businesses across the region.

This marks a significant step toward a stronger, more collaborative future for Seneca County. More updates will be shared as the process moves forward.

The Hangar is Cleared for Takeoff!

Last week, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for The Hangar, the brand-new indoor play space at Grace Community Church near the Seneca County Airport. Now open to the public, this state-of-the-art facility features the largest indoor play structure in Northwest Ohio, designed by K Play, and can accommodate up to 200 children at a time.

The event included a ribbon cutting with Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors, facility tours, and a first look at this $300,000 play structure, part of a $2 million community investment. Guests also enjoyed food from IronWood Steakhouse while exploring all that The Hangar has to offer.

This free indoor play space provides a fun and safe environment for kids 12 and under to climb, slide, and explore. The facility also includes an event room available for private reservations, perfect for birthdays, baby showers, and special occasions.

Play Hours:

  • Sundays: 1 – 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
