St. Augustine's Holy Spirit Prayer

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit,

that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit,

that I always may be holy.

Amen

Please join us for an impactful evening with Dr. Melinda Harper, Licensed Psychologist and Professor at Queens University on April 22 at 6PM in the Fine Arts Center. This engaging presentation is designed to help students (and parents!) successfully navigate the transition from high school to college. Dr. Harper will share practical insight on everything from managing schedules and balancing responsibilities to adjusting to a new environment and building new friendships and community.

Class of 2025 feedback: “I'm thrilled my senior and I attended together. It opened the door to so many conversations for us...I’m grateful for so many topics to consider and chat about.” “I highly recommend the transition presentation to help empower your seniors as they enter this new stage in life.” “This was my favorite presentation from CCHS counselors!"

CCHS Class of 2026 - Scholarship Reporting Form

Seniors, we want to celebrate your success!

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.

  • To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
  • Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
  • Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
  • Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

The deadline for submitting scholarships for recognition in the Catholic Daily and the graduation program is Friday, April 24th at noon.

Spring College Visit Reminders

  • Attendance is at the teacher's discretion. Students may not attend if they have a test or quiz and are responsible for any missed work.
  • If you can no longer attend, cancel your RSVP promptly so colleges have an accurate headcount.
  • Come prepared, be respectful, and bring thoughtful questions-this is your chance to make a great impression.

**Please visit SCOIR to see a complete list of college visits.

The Penguin Project – Mentor Opportunity

The Penguin Project pairs peer mentors with young artists who have developmental or learning disabilities. Over three months, students build friendships, rehearse, and perform in a musical production.

This year, we are presenting Seussical Jr., and the program has grown so much that we now need additional mentors. We are especially looking for male mentors to help balance the team.

There is no cost to participate, and no theatre experience is needed—just a willingness to support and be a good friend.

Please visit the Theatre Charlotte website for more information. Questions can be directed to Dr. Maria Leahy or Penguin Project Artistic Director, Chris Timmons. and feel free to reach out with any questions or interest. Save the date to attend our performances on June 19-21.
