Middle School Beach Retreat

July 17-19

Who is ready for some fun in the sun?! All rising 5th-rising 9th graders are invited to join us in Laguna Beach, Florida (right outside of Panama City) for a weekend full of fun and fellowship. We will spend lots of time on the beach playing, we will have fun art activities, will will pray together, and we will laugh A LOT.

Curious about where we will be staying? It is called Laguna Beach Christian Retreat and it is located right on the water. It is where we stayed last year for our middle school retreat and we loved it so much, we are heading back!

Cost of this trip is $200 and includes travel, lodging, food, and all activities.

7th Grade Rite 13 Rehearsal and Ceremony

Please Save The Date for our 7th Grade Rite 13 ceremony on May 21st at the 9am service. Please also save the date for May 20th for our Rite 13 Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner in Ellis Hall at 5pm.

Your family is invited to join us as we celebrate your 7th grader and this milestone in the church. On May 20th, we will enjoy a seated dinner together where we will honor your child and parents will have the opportunity to toast to your child. We are asking each family to provide a ~100 word biography about your child as well as a photo. You can submit both of these using the link below.

If you haven’t been able to make it to many, or any, of our formation classes–that is okay! We still want your 7th grader to participate and your family to be there!

Please RSVP for the rehearsal dinner using the link below.

We can’t wait to celebrate our seventh graders and this milestone for them in the church!

Last Week to Help Decide Our 2024 Pilgrimage Location!

For Current 9th-11th Graders

We are in the final week of deciding our pilgrimage location! A couple of our high schoolers made a wonderful Google Form with the location options they discussed last week. Please have your high schooler fill out the form so we can move forward with our final location decision.

Additionally, filling out this form will serve as your official "interest form" so moving forward, I will only send communications to those interested!

High School Mission Trip 2023

June 4-9

We are so excited to introduce our first High School Mission Trip this summer! We will be heading to Asheville, NC where we will work alongside Asheville Youth Mission Co. and dive into our theme "let me be as Christ to you" based on The Servant Song. This week will be full of service, building relationship, and fun!

The trip is described by Youth Mission Co. as:

"Located in the mountains of North Carolina, Asheville Youth Mission gives young people an opportunity to explore the hidden needs and struggles of those who are living on the margins within and around a beautiful tourist town. Groups will work with a variety of agencies working with those who are homeless, in poverty, or food insecure, both in urban and rural settings."

This trip is open to all current 9th-12th graders

Cost is $420 and includes travel, lodging, meals, and all activities
