Worship & Music Seasonal Note
We are once again coming to the end of the Church year with the celebration of the Reformation, this coming Sunday, October 25th. Red will be the color in the paraments, pastor’s stole, flags out front, and even the Altar flower bouquets. Red symbolizes the fire of the Holy Spirit that empowered Martin Luther, and other reformers, to challenge the abuses within the church. We invite you to wear red to worship on the 25th.

Christmas is Coming!
The holiday season is just around the corner, and after Thanksgiving St. Luke's will kick off our annual Giving Tree gift and fundraiser for Oasis and Kennedy Kids. The St. Luke's family has been very generous over the years with their gifts, and it is greatly appreciated by our Missions partners and the recipients.
This year we have a new need. Our artificial (yet faithful) Christmas tree has served its last, and we need a replacement tree. If you have a 6.5 ft or 7 ft artificial Christmas tree that you would be willing to donate, we would be extremely grateful. No lights are required, as we have ample quantities.
Please contact Bev Brosam, Janet Lyson or Roger Lyson if you can help out. It will be the First Gift of the Giving Tree!
Blessings,
Bev Brosam
