CN'S CARBON REDUCTION PROJECT FOR BUSINESS
How can a UNBC course help YOUR business?

Take a few minutes out of your busy schedule, and it could pay dividends for your business AND a UNBC student!

Earlier this year, Rita produced a carbon footprint analysis for Staples, as well as Nancy O's. Along with her class partner, Rita utilized information gathered from utility bills, employee commuting surveys and paper consumption. It was an opportunity to apply what she'd learned in UNBC's Carbon Management Course. The university relies on the Chamber to connect students with real-world case studies.

"CN's Carbon Reduction Project for Business" is one of the Chamber's projects to help members operate greener, cheaper and smarter.

Contact the Chamber's Project Coordinator, Barbara Otter, to secure one of the FINAL spots today!

DID YOU KNOW... FROM OUR CORPORATE PARTNER

Did you know…your local school district could be your answer to hiring an apprentice? Youth Work in Trades programs are a great place to start when you’re looking for passionate student apprentices in your community.

The Industry Training Authority (ITA) works with the Ministry of Education to bring trades training programs to elementary and secondary schools across BC. Increasing early hands-on experience for students is also a focus in BC’s Skills for Jobs Blueprint, through which the Province is re-engineering education and training programs toward a data-driven system that focuses investments on jobs that are in-demand.
