Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. - Romans 12:12

We are so thankful for what God has done on campus this past semester! We have had ministry through either chapels, small group Bible study, one on ones or character coaching on Baseball, Women's Basketball, Football, Gymnastics, Women's Lacrosse, Men's & Women's Soccer, Softball and Wrestling.

Our student leaders also started a prayer meeting that was completely student led in addition to our multi-sport huddle. It has been a joy to watch that grow and a blessing to see how God is moving in the hearts and lives our our athletes and coaches.

UMD FCA combined with the FCA huddles from American, Howard and George Washington Universities this semester and did a DC/MD huddle. We heard from Tress Way, the punter for the Washington Commanders. Tress shared the parable of the 2 builders and encouraged everyone to build their lives on the firm foundation of Jesus.

I had the opportunity to travel to Kansas City this past month for the NWSL Championship Game. I have been serving alongside my co-chaplain, Sarah, for the past 7 seasons. This was the second time that we made the championship game. Even though the outcome wasn't what we wanted, it was a privilege to be there with the team and support them.

Sarah and I are pictured here alongside the chaplains for the Orlando Pride, who we played. We prayed together outside the stadium for the whole event before we parted ways.

We had the opportunity to host all of the FCA Directors from around the state of Maryland this past semester. It was a blessing to have everyone on campus to see the facilities and meet several of our Maryland athletes.

I am blessed to continue serving alongside Darryl Colbert who works primarily with our Wrestling program as well as some of our football players. Even though we are the only staff, we also serve alongside some amazing volunteers.

In order to sustain this ministry, I need financial partners who make it possible for myself and Darryl to work on campus. This year I am trying to raise $8,000 in year end giving to support this ministry. Click the link below to give:
