We lift up Daniel, Zach, Alistar, Chris, and Adam in the military. We pray that your comforting Spirit be present with the Herman family as they grieve the death of Mark’s sister-in-law, Carol Jones.

Vacation Bible School Registration
It's that time of year again! We are so excited for Camp Firelight VBS!
Dates and Time: Monday-Friday, July 22-26, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages: Children who turned 4 before January 1, 2024, through those who completed fifth grade in the 2023-2024 school year
Cost: $40 per camper, $30 for siblings (financial assistance is available; please speak with Pastor Stuart). New this year: DISCOUNTS for parent volunteers!! See website or registration form for details.
Camper registration forms can be found in the narthex or downloaded at StPaulsLionville.org/vbs. Follow the instructions on the form for how to submit it and provide payment. Registration form(s) and payment are due July 7, 2024 (exceptions will be made if your child’s class is not full).
We have plenty of room for campers and volunteers! Please share with your friends!

Lutheran World Relief School Bags
LWR Kits are specifically designed to help people coping with poverty, disaster, conflict and more. School bag kits help keep education going during a crisis. Be Part of a New Family Opportunity
We are creating a new "Family Ministry Team" to plan events for, and consider ways to help and support, our younger families (elementary age and below) at St. Paul's and St. Matthew's. This team will meet on a regular basis, either monthly or every other month, to brainstorm and identify opportunities to more deeply engage younger families. ELCA YOUTH GATHERING: Our group of seven youth and four adults will join about 15,000 other people in New Orleans from July 16-20 for this triennial event. Watch for information about a special presentation by the group on Sunday, September 22!
HELP WITH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Our middle and high school students are invited to serve as a youth guide or activity support person at Vacation Bible School from July 22-26 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. If you can't help the whole week, just come the days you can. Sign up here to help: St. Paul's VBS Help.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MANIA! GOES TO URBAN AIR IN DOWNINGTOWN on Wednesday, July 31 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. All 6th through 8th graders (including rising 6th and just-completed 8th) are invited to join us for an afternoon of jumping and other fun! Friends are welcome to come, too. Family cost is $20 for one youth participant, or $35 for two or more youth participants from the same household. Sign up here to save your spot: July 31st Middle School Urban Air.
YOUTH KICKOFF LOCK-IN SAVE THE DATE: On Saturday, September 14 to Sunday, September 15, we will be kicking off our new year with a lock-in at St. Matthew’s. Make plans now to join us!

Crafters Schedule Changes
Crafters will meet at 10am on Wednesday, July 17, upstairs in the church, to assemble the Baby Bundles. All are welcome to join. We will have a pizza lunch afterwards.

Rejoicing Spirits
The next Rejoicing Spirits Service will be this Sunday, July 14 at 4:00pm. This is an informal, inclusive and adapted service open to the community, regardless of faith background. The service includes joyous
music, singing and brief, meaningful, pastor-led sermons. Everyone is welcome!

First Aid Kits for ELCA
You are invited to join in and support the In-kind Offering at the upcoming ELCA Youth Gathering. SEPA Synod, along with the rest of Region 7, are collecting small first aid kits. Coffee Fellowship
Only one Sunday in the next three months has an individual or group signed up to provide Sunday morning fellowship snacks and prepare coffee. Get together with friends, family, or your church group and have some fun! Sign up in the narthex or online at StPaulsLionville.org/events.

Flat Sheets Needed
The quilters are in need of flat sheets for the back of the quilts. If you have flat sheets you are not using, please place them in the bin in the hallway marked Quilts.

Living - Love - Lunches
Living Love Lunches is a program that provides packed lunches to the homeless in Chester. St. Paul’s will be contributing 50 packed lunches a month to the ministry. Please join us Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall to pack bagged lunches. All supplies will be provided. We need help making sandwiches and assembling the lunches.
