In the Tigers Classroom at MNC Valencia Campus, our Water Study inspired weeks of curiosity, discovery, and conversations. A children’s favorite science exploration was watching colored water travel through paper towels. As they observed the colors slowly spread and blend together, they made predictions, shared observations, and discovered how water can move through different materials.
The children shared ideas like "Plants need water to grow", "Animals need clean water too", and "We have to keep the Earth clean, so the water stays clean." These conversations reflected their growing awareness that water connects all living things and that everyone has a role in protecting it.
To celebrate, the Tigers proudly recited their Water Heroes Promise pledging to turn off the faucet while brushing their teeth, use only the water they need during play, and help keep water clean and safe for people, plants, and animals.
