To our valued feed customers:

With the sale of our Agronomy Services division in Stratford, WI to AgSource, we wanted to communicate with our feed and forage customers to ensure you that our focus remains in the feed industry and therefore on you and your success.

Starting March 22, Tyler Kappers will be the feed lab manager at our Stratford Lab location, as well as lead Dairyland’s Mill Quality Assurance program. Carmen Weber will also continue with Dairyland as the Customer Service Data Management Specialist in Stratford. The remaining feed lab team including Raelene and Vanessa are ready and excited to continue to work with you.

Dairyland will continue to provide feed and forage testing at the same location in Stratford for the time being. Our pickup locations and times connected to the Stratford location will remain the same as you have come to expect. Further information on the new location of Dairyland’s feed and forage lab in Stratford will be forthcoming.

Business with the remaining lab locations will continue as usual. We thank you for your business over the years and look forward to continuing to work with you.

Visit Us at Central Plains Dairy Expo!

Dairyland Labs will be attending the Central Plains Dairy Expo in Sioux Falls, SD March 29-31. You will find our booth (C604) in the main convention center exhibit hall.

Be sure to talk with Dave, Laura and Tyler about our work with Si-Ware and more. Si-Ware and Dairyland are partnering to bring FT-NIR to farms and feed mills. In the same way a fitness tracker allows you to monitor health via real time measurements of heart rate, temperature, and sleep patterns, this new offering will allow real-time on-site analysis of the major quality variables in your feed program. Off-the-shelf the instrument will measure moisture accurately for on-farm adjustments and automatically track changes in major nutrients like protein, starch, and fiber.

Whether used on the farm for moisture and quality monitoring or in feed mills to screen incoming ingredients, this FT-NIR opens new decision-making opportunities that aren’t practical with traditional lab analyses and its integration with Dairyland Laboratories creates convenient data handling solutions where formulators can view and use all their feed data in one place.
