Support The Winston School’s Science Program!

The Winston School’s Science Program inspires students to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them through hands-on labs, field studies, and engaging scientific projects. In every class, students learn to think critically, solve problems, and take pride in their discoveries. Your support helps provide lab materials and scientific equipment.

As a 501(c)(3), your tax-deductible donation immediately enhances your student’s experience at The Winston School. All contributions — no matter the amount — are valued and appreciated.

Alumni Panel: Staff Inspired by Winston Graduates

This week, during our Professional Development Day, we had the special opportunity to hear from several Winston alumni who shared their journeys after graduation — from college life to successful careers in cybersecurity and community development.

The panelists spoke about setting goals that are challenging but achievable, managing time wisely, and caring for mental health along the way. They reflected on how Winston’s supportive teachers, personalized learning, and hands-on experiences prepared them for real-world success.

Our alumni encouraged current students to ask questions, stay curious, and take every opportunity to learn and grow.

Parent Volunteers Appreciation

A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped set up our Ofrenda! Your time, creativity, and care brought this beautiful tribute to life and allows our students to explore cultural heritage and remembrance in a meaningful way. Displayed outside the auditorium, the Ofrenda is a way of honoring loved ones and celebrating memories. Staff and students are encouraged to bring in photos and mementos!

Parents: The deadline to order your student’s school photos is October 26th. Lemonbear is offering a 10% discount for a minimum purchase of $75 for all orders placed by the deadline.

You may contact them directly at hello@lemonbearphoto.com.

Anything but a backpack

Our students brought their A-game for Anything but a Backpack Day! We loved seeing their creativity on full display and shared laughs at their alternative backpacks: rolling suitcases, a wheelbarrow, and even a dog bed! Who knew backpacks could be so last season?
