Announcements

Senior Installation on September 11: Parents and families, please make plans to join us next Friday, September 11, at 2:30 PM in the CRBHM Gym for the Class of 2027 Senior Installation Ceremony. Senior Installation is a rite of passage in which the Class of 2027 will be officially acknowledged as Seniors and signifies their entrance into a new phase of life. Following the ceremony, a reception with light refreshments will be served in the College Success Center. For more information regarding Senior Installation, please contact Dr. Brown.

Attention Students: Please make sure to fully charge your iPad every night! All students are expected to bring their school-issued iPad (not a personal iPad or laptop) to school every day.

Help Us Spread the Word: It’s Not Too Late to Join Cristo Rey!

Do you know a family still searching for the right high school? Maybe a friend or neighbor is considering a change, or they’re simply curious about what makes the Cristo Rey experience different.

Help us spread the word! Cristo Rey Birmingham is still accepting applications for students in grades 9–11, and limited spaces remain for the 2026-2027 school year.

Our Cristo Rey families are some of our best ambassadors. If someone you know could benefit from a college-prep education, real-world experience through our Corporate Work Study Program, and a community committed to helping every student succeed, encourage them to learn more!

Uniform Reminders for 2026-2027

Now that the school year is underway, we want to remind all students and families about our required uniform guidelines:

• Regular School Uniform
• White or navy blue polo shirt embroidered with the school logo (both the old HFCR logo and the new CRBHM logo are acceptable)
• Black or navy twill uniform pants or school plaid skirt/skort
• Solid black, brown, or white shoes with black or navy socks/tights
• Optional: navy cardigan, vest, or fleece embroidered with the school logo (no hoods)
• Business Attire Uniform
• Required for every CWSP Day and on Mass Days
• White Oxford button-down shirt embroidered with the school logo (both the old HFCR logo and the new CRBHM logo are acceptable)
• Girls may instead wear a school polo underneath a navy school cardigan: wearing only the polo shirt is not acceptable
• Boys must wear a solid navy, solid gold, or navy & gold striped tie
• Same pants/skirt and shoe guidelines as regular uniform
• Other Reminders
• Hoodies are not permitted on campus at any time
• Wireless headphones/earbuds (like AirPods) are not permitted between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM
