Webelos of Pack 1277 Meet with Cedar Park Mayor

Earlier this week, Cedar Park's Webelos of Pack 1277 had an amazing opportunity to meet with Cedar Park Mayor, Jim Penniman-Morin, to discuss civics and government.

The Scouts learned about the importance of community involvement, the roles and responsibilities of local government, and how they can make a positive impact in their own neighborhoods. It was an inspiring and educational experience for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to Jim Penniman-Morin, Mayor of Cedar Park, for taking the time to engage with our future leaders. We're proud of our Scouts for their curiosity and enthusiasm!

Updates on Parks & Recreation Facilities

The Recreation Center gym and track floor are currently being refinished and are closed. The refinishing will be completed on Monday, January 27 and both will reopen to the public on Tuesday, January 28.

Additionally, park restrooms, fountains, and community garden water has been turned back on with the exception of Buttercup Park and Nelson Ranch Park restrooms. We are working to secure temporary restroom facilities for both of these locations in the meantime.

Trash and Recycling Update

Remember that due to weather earlier in the week, trash and recycling schedules are shifted one day later.

If your normal pickup day is Friday, please put your bins out on Saturday this week.

Normal trash and recycling schedules will resume next week!
