August Clinic Chronicle

Dear Friends,

As summer begins to give way to fall, we are reminded that healthy communities are built through connection, compassion, and a shared commitment to caring for one another. At Good Neighbor Health Clinic, every patient visit, volunteer hour, and donor contribution helps ensure that quality healthcare remains accessible to our neighbors who need it most. Some items we have already been able to check off from our strategic plan released earlier this year, but I hope you are following along because we continue to make an impact in stride, thanks to you and our community partners.

With just four months left until 2027, it is hard to believe what can change in a year and what can be accomplished through a dedicated community. I am looking forward to the remainder of this year and seeing what our work ahead brings.

Thank you for your dedication to our mission,

Elizabeth R. Franson, MHA

CEO & Executive Director

Staff Spotlight:

Brianna - Patient Care Coordinator

Good Neighbor Health Clinic's Patient Care Coordinator, Brianna, recently obtained her certification for becoming a Clinical Medical Assistant! With this additional credential, our medical team is at full clinical capacity - each team member is able to give vaccinations, complete lab work, and provide clinical care.

"I'm very happy to finally be MA certified!", Brianna shared, "it's something that I've been wanting to do for a while now, so when the opportunity was presented to me here at GNHC, I knew I wanted to take the course! I'm beyond thankful for what this opportunity has given me and am so excited to see where my future leads here at Good Neighbor Health Clinic!".

Congratulations, Brianna! Your hard work has paid off!

Spending Time in the Community

Each year our staff, volunteers, and board spend time throughout the community at different events. You may see us at vigils, Farmer’s Markets, block parties, and more! Being out in the community allows our team to have the opportunity to share more about the great work we do to care for our neighbors each and every day, all thanks to your support! At our table and tent you’ll often find flyers, tear offs, patient applications, and brochures, giving more information about the types of care we offer and who is eligible for our services. Word of mouth is a powerful tool to connect neighbors in need to resources throughout the Upper Valley!

If you see us out and about, make sure you drop by and say hi. We'd love to connect with you!
