Water Quality Report Now Online

Every year, Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) publishes the Consumer Confidence Report on Water Quality, which provides specific information on where Pasadena’s water comes from, how it is treated, and its overall composition. The 2026 report, covering the 2025 calendar year, can be viewed and downloaded online.

Pasadena’s water supply continues to meet all drinking water quality standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water.

Save 20–30% on Solar & Battery Upfront Costs with PWP Rebates

Did you know PWP offers rebates to help residential and commercial electric customers make solar and battery storage more affordable? Residential customers can receive $0.60 per watt for installing a new rooftop solar system or $1.00 per watt if enrolled in one of PWP’s bill assistance programs. Residential battery storage rebates are $350 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), with an additional $200 per kWh for income-qualified and Medical Assistance Program participants.

These incentives typically cover 20–30% of system costs, making it easier to invest in clean, reliable home energy. If you're considering solar or storage, now is an excellent time to explore your options. For more information, visit PWP’s website, where both residential and commercial program details, eligibility, and next steps are available.

Educational Scholarship 2026 Winners

PWP is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 educational scholarship contest. These scholarships reflect PWP’s ongoing commitment to supporting local students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). As part of this year’s application process, students submitted a video responding to a prompt about how their passion for a STEM-related field contributes to the utility industry, public service, or sustainability initiatives, and how the scholarship will support their future career goals.

Adrianna Bäumle of Blair High School is the 2026 first-place winner. Her submission highlighted her enthusiasm for pursuing mechanical engineering and her intention to apply her problem-solving skills to address climate change. Mildred Gonzalez of John Muir High School Early College Magnet is the second-place winner. She plans to study Business Economics and Finance and is passionate about integrating environmental sustainability and ethics into STEM-focused business leadership.

Congratulations to Adrianna and Mildred!
