KGOU and Oklahoma Watch launch listening tour

KGOU and non-profit online journalism organization Oklahoma Watch are teaming up to connect with a diverse range of communities through a listening project, titled "How’s Oklahoma Working for You?" Over the next several weeks, we'll be meeting with people across the state to hear concerns from under-served and underrepresented communities about life in Oklahoma, along with ideas for positive change. What we hear from them will help inform our reporting in the future, and furthers our commitment to "hear every voice." Stay tuned for more as this project progresses.

His book chronicles the long and storied history of the People's House, from the years-long effort to break ground following statehood, to the addition of the dome 85 years later, and the extensive restoration just completed. Tune in for his conversation with KGOU's Logan Layden on Monday, with an encore Sunday, Sept. 4 at 12 p.m.
