The ES Chamber and Missouri Enterprise are working with local manufacturers to get you started on a new career.
Do you know someone needing employment or looking to make a career change? Would they like to be guaranteed an interview with one of our local manufacturing facility HR managers? The Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce is joining forces with Missouri Enterprise to bring a FREE week-long pre-employment training program for those interested in working in manufacturing. The average wage in manufacturing is over $50,000/year. This industry also offers opportunities for additional training and to move up within the company.
Anyone who completes this FREE 5 day training program will have the opportunity to interview for open positions at Fiskars, Magna, and Treehouse Pasta (and possibly a few other facilities not yet confirmed). Class size is limited to 20. Please contact the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce at 816-630-6161 or email: info@expsgschamber.com to register and confirm your spot. Class week will be October 5-9, 2020. Class time is 8:30am-4:30pm. If you can commit to the week, we will commit to you getting an interview. Call today to get more information and to reserve your spot.
We understand it may be difficult to take off work for a week and miss your regular income to attend this training, so Blauvelt Law Firm with the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce is providing a scholarship opportunity for someone who will need to to take off work for the week in order to attend. Please call 816-630-6161 for information.
