Certification All Star: Alan Nyerges

Since joining NuAxis in January 2024 Alan has been working on a number of developer certifications from Azure Adminstrator to Microsoft DevOps Expert. Most recently, he's been learning more about Microsoft's Power Platform and completed his Linux LPIC certifications.

The certifications he has completed through the Learn and Earn program have given him a better understanding of PowerApps to enable him to identify opportunities to improve services for WMATA and automate processes for the NuAxis team. For example Alan created a loaner tracking application for WMATA to help manage inventory and short-term loans.

Alan credits the NuAxis Learn and Earn program with encouraging him to expand his horizons and get new skills. Want to become a certification all-star? Participate in the Learn & Earn Program! NuAxis will both pay for you to take a training course or exam AND give you up to $1,000 bonus for getting a new certification.
